Kolkata class is gud nut it should have more land attack missles...it carries 16 now but it should have 32.

16 brahmos + 16 nirbhay.

Kamorta class is quite gud....should produce it in huge numbers...

what IN should do now is to have two series of destroyers coming out based on Kolkata follow ons..

1. Studded with Barak-8 arrays.. Missile destroyers..
2. Multi mission heavy duty Brahmos ( hypersonic ) and Nirbhay powered Land/ship attack surface combatants..

Actually there is no need for a 200+ km range SAM onboard a warship because in no way it can detect an inbound anti ship missile at 160+ km range.
By the way,I'm from Joynagar,West Bengal,about 44 km south of Kolkata.

A P 15A Kolkata DDG will be far overkill for Bangladesh navy,a P 15 Delhi should be enough.

And in the coming years,IN will increasingly use combat air crafts armed with anti ship missiles for sea denial than using warships.
