I think, what India really needs to be worried about is the huge difference in birth rates between Muslims and other religions.

Therefore, I think, controlling Hindu(speaking in general terms) population only MAY prove to be dangerous few years down the line.......It MAY even become a threat to India's Secular status....as Muslims tend to be intolerant towards other religions.

Yes, two Children are enough to replace two parents. Our population has increased by 4 times since independence and resources are limited. As a Pakistani you are unaware that Pakistani is going to make a disaster story in high population growth whereas East European countries in population decrease. You have already overtaken population of Bangladesh and now you are going to overtake Indonesia very soon.

Not necessarily. Personally I have seen Muslims having larger family, no matter whats the financial status.

that is not the only issue, the Muslims have to come out of the cacon they are binded to and join the mainstream population to grab the oppertunity.
the practice of having different marriage laws for different religion should be first put to the ashes.
polygamy sould be routed out of the Muslim community in India.
Then every one can witness in the success of the Muslim community in INdia.
