The goverment needs to take some serious steps there is far to much anti Pakistan activities on social media yet the government is doing nothing whatsoever to counter the narrative. On one side we have ptm dogs barking then these bla dogs and indians ,afghanis all spewing hatred.

our government can send a request to the platform admin and thats pretty much it.
its down to the service provider to take action. and if its lower tier working staff is predominately Indian then the required action might not take place.

A report has already been filed, however i doubt the origin of such accounts will be located in Pakistan. The very fact that this activity is taking place on Instagram, means the operator is in Iran. @Foxtrot Alpha

While I am against blocking all social media, any company that is getting ad revenue from Pakistan should be mandated to have a representative office (Google Ads has a team in Arfa Tower). The problem lies in representatives for many companies happen to be in India which makes any takedown requests a matter of fighting with the Indian Govt. rather than with respective companies. There are just way too many problems with Pakistan currently, almost all aspect are compromised giving rise to the present situation. I have began to wonder if we will survive this.

Pakistan itself is compromised to a very large extent. While new privacy laws are coming up fast, (GDPR, CCPA), Pakistan seems content with all data going out of the country without any repercussion. Why do you think China doesn't allow any foreign social media company within its boundaries.

How do we survive this, and in your opinion how likely are we to? In my eyes Pakistan just seems unable to adapt to the many security challenges it is facing, finding itself in an alarmingly dangerous situation. The compounding problem can only be withstood for so long unless drastic measures are put in place to stop them, which I don't see happening.

It's not that much easy as to speak. The biggest problem we have is our lingering economy. If big wigs have economic interests in your country. The country to where they belong would never utter any word against you. Failed regimes of the past had done much damage to our economy. Haven't you seen how Arab countries taking soft stance against India as well as Israel? Even European countries don't speak against China in the same way as America does. Well India also does not take hard stance against China too. It's a game of economy. If you have better economy it means you can suppress non-state actors without any foreign pressure.

As always; change of hierarchy is in order. You need to make hard decisions which is not possible considering parliamentary democracy which in it self means you're going to have stunted/malformed children every time you want to have one.
Change is required from the top to the bottom and that needs a full review which can't be covered up in one post. So many things that could be done but the gist of the whole issue:

1. Local govt is the need of the hour. Why should I be running to DC for some street lights?
2. Centralized IT infrastructure for government and transparency. If a member of the public wants to see how much money was spent on repairs of their street and how much money the contractor pocketed they should be able to do so "digitally"
3. Digital banking/money. Make it easy for people to use currency online. You can learn from Chinese digital currency initiatives for ideas on how to make that happen.
4. For national security initiatives all social media should be regulated within the country with those companies moving their data warehouses into Pakistan. That would include running their operations from within the country and responding to legal requests from the GoP.

Exactly. Why is there no separatism in Sindh or Punjab or even KPK outside of FATA? Because separatists can't find supporters for their cause. We need to develop a pro Pakistani narrative and sentiment inside Balochistan. Buy off the Sardars onto our side and they will bring their tribes with then. And fence the border.
