its just simple these guns need replacement only . all will be ok . or they should buy some 50 new guns for gun salute only . also they lack basic gear and universal look . some wear masks some not some have shirt in some out some wear jersey some not .

The weapons are required to protect them against any hostility. The same weapons would work for a gun salute too. Why should weapons be purchased for gun salutes. Those who are getting these salutes are the ones responsible for this sorry state. They deserve these misfiring guns every bit.

Primary purpose of these being protected against armed hostile sis not being met that is a bigger cause of concern. Misfiring at funeral just gives it more optics and they reach PDF too.

As far as rifles go, even 100 year old ones would fire if maintained well. If you give these jokers AK47, then that would also start misfiring. You have to see them in person once to realise what I am saying. Not a worthy reason for someone to travel to Bihar.
