The work done by them is well appreciated. There are multiple forums to address that.
Many events are organized by various states as well as the Center, trade & commerce entities like FICCI(Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry), CII(Confederation of Indian Industry) etc.
There are annual events organized to recognize the good work done by them. It also helps in creating more opportunities for development.

However, all that being said, there is no exception to the rule of law, no jumping the queue or no preferential treatment, privileges cannot be extended to bend the rules.

While I appreciate your concern and sense of justice, it is not exactly what the rule is.
1. To make things crystal clear, only a person holding an Indian passport is an Indian.
2. India does not allow dual-citizenship. If any Indian person chooses to be a citizen of some other country,he is forced to abandon his Indian citizenship. As a citizen of some other country he 'deserves' benefits of that country and not that of India.

Their are no second if person are PIO or OCI card holder except electoral rights

You already differentiated the people...So those who have voting rights are first...period.....when you have left the country because of any reason, it means you no longer can avail first class citizen benefits..its simple..

Thats why dont need strict checkings when entering India....but in terms of rescuing fixed number of people, unfortunately, Indian with Indian passport will take priority.....

Keep your hatred to yourself.

I have clearly mentioned this is not aimed at targeting the law. I am merely questioning the rule behind it, if you can answer it in a civil manner please feel free to, but if you cannot, then please do not pollute the thread as i can see quite many Indian members have given me some brilliant answers

If that is the case, then I suggest to open another thread for questioning the legality of Passport, why to ask the generic question in this thread As holding passport is mandatory document for travelling outside home country...

I can assure this is not meant as being rude or anything. What i'm trying to establish is that Passport is a travel document. One of the documents used to assess your nationality. when your travel outside. But when youre inside India and without passport, that doesn't mean you're not Indian

I have read all your comments and response in continuity and i have a feeling you are just trying to prove your point without any basis and lingering here......

passport is THE most important document when you are travelling outside your country......Nepal is not India.....So Indians need to have Indian passport to proof they are Indian. In this rescue mission where there is limited space available, the priority is always Indians..I am sure same thing will happen in case of Pakistan too.....

These kind of technicallity or leaving ones own country for another country does not pinch in happy situations, only in bad situation you realize what have one left behind....so there is nothing called hard feeling for one individual or another...its just the rules......

No one is forgetting the work done by the NRIs or OICs, but all Indians are thankful to them.....That is the reason they can get life long visa to visit India, but that does not mean they will be given same treatment like Indian citizen... They themselves left this country with good reason so there is no point in asking for same privileges as Indian citizens.
