He has an IQ of 162, which is believed to be higher than the likes of Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking and qualifies him to be a member of Mensa club - the largest and oldest high IQ society in the world.

"I always want to do the best, and I'll do that no matter what the cost. I think I'm a genius. I'm good at mental maths, general knowledge and I find it quite easy to memorise stuff," said Rahul, who cites his favourite language as Latin.

Rahul achieved full marks in a spelling test, correctly reciting the letters in words like garrulous, accouchement, and hyponatraemia (low level of sodium in the blood). In a timed memory round, he answered 14 questions out of 15 correctly, but did not have time to answer the final question.

While he narrowly lost out in a maths round, he is exempt from elimination due to his high score.

He could have died from cholera or diarrhea from young or have his IQ drop due to bad environment.
Indians in Singapore with clean environment and good food don't suffer from low IQ.

We had a genius ethnic Indian who became a doctor at 18 years old in Singapore.
Couldn't find his name, but he did not come up with a cancer cure or become a prominent doctor.
His only achievement was molest and mistreating his maid.

This British boy have great potential.
Einstein had great potential PLUS great achievements.
He should wait until he has achieved something with his great potential capability.
Winning Spelling Bees or entrance to Mensa are not exactly contribution to the advancement of human civilization.

Nothing wrong with being competitive. In a world where kids are becoming celebrities because of talent in singing, and we have 10 year old fashion models strutting down cat walks, it's nice to know some people have their priorities right.

I have been told previously that sometimes young minds can be viewing these pages, so we must not project views that will corrupt them. A stupid comparison of 'Indian kids better than Pakistani/Bangladeshi kids' is absolutely the wrong views to project. This is an attempt at spreading toxicity into young kids. Allot of High IQ IITns ended up in Jail in 2G scam.

Let the child be, he is already intelligent, why pressurize him so much?

All this competition is killing our natural talent and that of our children ............... the hardest thing is to cope with a failure and stand again with a smiling face.

And as regards to IQ, this doesn't remain the same, it keeps changing for any particular individual.

As a child ...... don't ask yar how much I hated all this competition and limited choices, that too from my parents and the education system ............. as a parent when I now look back at my career I feel like all this competition is taking away all that fun and livelihood from the children.
