@Kesang i heard vikas is alot good discus thrower.... We can hope for a medal. Will the qualifying points forwarded in finals?.... i hope it does so vikas will eye on silver or Gold medal.... By the way last night i saw a dream. i saw Sushil kumar won Gold medal.... Am sure he will....

By the way vikas qualify at no.1 spot or others have good chance too? i hope vikas brings atleast a medal. If its gold than party in india.... I am not aware of Vikas Gowda..but from what you guys discussing seems, an Indian Athlete is close to getting a medal in disc throw ?? I think then this will be the biggest olympic achievement for India so far...a medal in athletics.

Actually. If someone throws more than 65m then he will qualify automatically for final. Those player who still didn't reached 65m mark will going to throw again. so, can't say he will finish at 1st rank in qualification round.

Gagan is playing qualification round and he is playing horribly. I don't think that he will reach final.

By the way i doubt vikas can get medal because group B Did well.... Well over 66 they thrown.... But Vikas didnt get much chance to Throw so am sure he will throw better than 65 in finals.... In qualification he at 5 i guess....

Vikas Gowda has a good chance of getting a medal. If he can throw around 66.5m tomorrow, that should get him a bronze atleast. His personal best is 66.28m, its within his reach.

He is massive, 6 feet 10 inches

Its very likely india will get around 7 medals.... 3 we got. 2 we will get in Boxing.... While 2 in Wrestling.... anything above is bonus.... Am hoping we get atleast 2 Gold Medals. 1 in wrestling and 1 in Boxing.... 3 boxers are just a win away from a medal.... 5 wrestlers are taking part.... While we have other athelits too like tintu luka, vikas gowda, in tripple jump we have one left. One is 50km walk too.... But am hoping 4 medals. 2 of them Gold from Boxing and wrestling.... So this olympic will be best for indian medal tally. Best of luck india.

He is one hell of a massive person. My senior was scared of him when he first came to our RC during CWG. Was comfortably the tallest among the entire Indian contingent of 600+ at Delhi.
