Indian oil tanker ridden with faults rendered useless even before use

Another Jamaati propaganda. Bit of teething problem is expected in the beginning.

The company which supplied the tankers Texmaco is ISO certified company and has many export customers. Whats funny though is the fact that in the past too Bangladesh has been using Indian made tankers.

RAWamy propaganda to kill BD railways as they did to Pak one.

:laughcry: Indians on the other thread are making fun of Chinese railway engines yet cannot even export proper oil tankers

India runs a huge trade deficit. Their products are not selling to other countries despite of extremely low labor cost comparing to China.

Any comments on this high quality import from China?

Apparently the fussy Bangladeshis are also complaining about the faulty DEMUs they bought from China. No one can meet the high standards of Bangladesh Railway.

Officials said Friday, after the 20 sets of 'imperfect' Diesel Electric Multiple Unit (DEMU) import from China, the BR has again decided to procure five sets (30 units) of Indian DEMU and 70 AC passenger coaches which will not be compatible with the BR infrastructures.

"The Chinese DEMUs, imported at a cost of more than Tk 6.0 billion, have already been found not suitable for the Bangladesh Railway infrastructures. The passenger carrying capacity of DEMUs is low and passengers are finding traveling by these trains very uncomfortable.

Check out the height of the door from the platform. Apparently Bangladeshi passengers are advised to bring a ladder from home if they wish to travel by the superior technology Chinese train. :omghaha:

Bangladeshis have a habit of blaming everyone else for their own incompetence. If they are so fussy about these things they should drop the undergarments manufacturing and start doing some heavy engineering.

They are just dropping the responsibility on Indians for their own incompetence.

The reasons of the oil companies objections to use the tankers, have been attributed to faulty designs and technical problems in loading and unloading. Those tankers were also sent to workshops for finding solution to the problem. But it, did not work, the source said. Though the Railway has adequate number of tanker, some vested quarters influenced the authority for import of the new wagons, it is alleged.

As a result due attention was not given to technical aspect like design specification of the tankers, it is further alleged. The traffic department of the Railway, which is supposed to be consulted for its opinion for design specification, was allegedly ignored as the whole process was done in a hurry, it is alleged. The relevant officials of the mechanical department of Railway had given approval to design specification of the tankers, another source said adding some officials had been to India several times for spot inspections. It remains a mystery as to how the tankers imported following procedural formalities, however, turned faulty, one top official requesting anonymity said.

Bd Today:165 imported tankers turn faulty

Chinese are sitting under the credit of 2.5 Times their GDP

And it was India that was begging credit rating agencies to beg for a better than junk rating. China's debt is mostly internal. Our external debt is 8.7% of our GDP and that of India is 20% of the GDP. The Indian rupee is needing the RBI to sell dollars to prop it at 60, and the forex reserve has dwindled to 279 billion latest.

Truth hurts.
