Yes, it's also pretty big and the location with all the other parts looks not as good as on the C130Js:

But as long as it does it job. :)

Keep in mind that the Boeing 737 is not a new aircraft, but is serving even in IAF (Air force one / VIP transport) for years, only this varient is new, so the aircraft itself doesn't need that many changes, or tests.

IAF and IN are two different agencies so there are bound to be differences in their aesthetic choices just like USN/USAF. Like how IN went for black nose on their P-8s.

I don't know exactly what they mean but it just stands for where the planes are based so ARK- Arakkonam would mean being based at INS RANJI:

INS Rajali - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And DAB-Dabolim would mean being stationed at INS HANSA/Dabolim Airport:

I think the black noew is just a temporary arrangement. It really spoils the look of that AC.

Unfortunately I don't think so, I agree it looks FAR better without the nose, but I cant see why the nose would be painted black just to have it removed- it doesn't seem to serve any purpose other than aesthetics.

You might be right, I also checked couple of earlier MPA pics you posted earlier had a black coating on it. So it might be a trend that IN is following...
