Indian naval team satisfied with Sevmash efforts on Vikramaditya
Specialists from the Indian Navy have expressed satisfaction with the work conducted by employees of the Sevmash yard on the INS Vikramaditya over the last 8 months, b-port.com reported. The ship is currently undergoing trials in the White Sea, which are being monitored by Rear Admiral Hari Kumar, who is the Chairman of Indian Delivery Acceptance Team for the Aircraft Carrier.
Speaking at a conference on the progress of the aircraft carrier, the rear admiral spoke highly of Sevmashs efforts to complete a large amount of work on the project over the last eight months and noted how well the Indian and Russian specialists are working together, according to the website.
Before the aircraft carrier set out for the sea trials, the VIP suites of the captain and the flag officer were refurbished.
