Indian Muslims upset after PM Modi sends greetings to Muslims

Take it or leave it. Ahmadiyyas are Muslims according to Indian Law and If anyone got a problem with it they can move to someplace where their self certified Muslims are in majority.
Do Hindus believe in this claim of Mirza Ghulam Ahmed?

It is often mentioned that Ghulam Ahmad claimed to be the Hindu God Krishna. This claim is arguably the most misunderstood of his claims and most often misquoted. According to Ahmad, Krishna was not God but a prophet of God and the Sanskrit term Avatar synonymous with the terms Prophet and Messenger which are popular within the Middle Eastern religious traditions. He published various revelations which he claimed to have received informing him of this, one such revelation addressing him was:

“ O Krishna slayer of swine, protector of cows, thy praise is recorded in the Gita. ”

In a lecture given in Sialkot in 1904 he declared that God had informed him that Krishna who had appeared among the Aryas thousands of years ago was indeed a prophet of God upon whom the Holy Spirit would descend from God but that later his teachings were corrupted and he began to be worshipped.[17] Here he claimed that he was the avatar whom the Hindus were awaiting in the latter days and that he had appeared in the likeness of Krishna invested with the same qualities.[2] and in his capacity as such he set out to explain and correct what he perceived to be the erroneous beliefs of the Hindus of his time such as the worship of many Gods and the transmigration of souls.

We have no problem if they call themselves a Hindus ... We have no problem if he says he is the second avatar of Krishna ... any Hindu worshiping or not worshiping him on the basis of his this claim is a matter subjected entirely to this individual Hindus wishes ...

Believing any way of worship or worshiping anything that one believe's in, is not a crime in Hinduism ... But not allowing a person to follow and live with what he believes in is definitely a crime ...

I dont think anyone has any right to stop them in practising whatever they believe but if you practice Hinduism then you should call it Hinduism. If Sikhs start calling themselves Hindu then it will will create confusion and thats where most mainstream Muslims will differ with them. They have no objection if someone believe in claims of mirza ghulam ahmad but they feel objection if someone believe in Mirza ghulam but identify himself with mainstream Islam which may create confusion for someone who is interested in Islam to know whether he should believe in ghulam mirza like qadyani or should reject his claims like others mainstream Muslims does

You dont know that if someone dont belive in claim of mirza and dont consider him prophet then according to them he is doing kufr :P so its two way street..most extremist Hindu dont even know his claim of likeness of Krishna otherwise you will see a good reaction :D

Indian Constitution and Law are sacrosanct. If they say Ahamdi are Muslims, then they are Muslims. Modi did no wrong in greeting them. There is no need to make a small issue a big one.

ppl can claim whatever they want, live however they want without hurting others.
Confusion ? if you just believe in god, then you should also accept the fact that other person is also gods creation just like you are. problem is that you end up creating your own artificial rules on who is follower and who is not. More than what the other guy thinks or practices its your thinking that creates the hatred.

Why did he send his greetings to Ahamdis at the expense of other Muslims ???

By the way on whose behalf are you to question that/him ?

Hafiz Shabbir (MLC) added:

“This is strange. In the last two years Prime Minister Modi has never issued any congratulatory message to Muslims on the occasion of Eid and other Muslim festivals. But, he has sent a letter wishing success to Ahmadiyya community”

He is within his rights to send wishes to whomever he wants. He is own person.

So there is no difference between an ordinary person sending his wishes and an elected prime minister sending his wishes ?
