Indian Muslim body issues fatwa for boycott of Chinese goods

Lol yes bro.
Honestly no one watches them anymore. It was more of a past generational thing. If you ask young Brit Pakistani men/women they give you a funny look.
Hilarious how popular Ertugrul is as well here haha.

Hahaha...I will find another cause for my slippers to beat with

on the topic brother. My family never watched Indian films ever it was just not the thing with us. Always PTV

and now Turkish dramas are the best

I was born and brought in Mumbai. Mumbai is somewhat like Pakistan. Azaan is blasted through loudspeakers continuosly from 4 am to 5 am, Muslims praying in middle of the roads, Muslims couples walking around with 10-15 children.

Pune is going Mumbai's way due to influx of North Indian and Bangladeshi Muslims. But it isn't as worse as Mumbai yet.

Btw I am shifting back to Mumbai next week. Wish me luck!

Awww....I guess you weren't bothered by the Ganesh Chaturti processions and Maha-artis?

I was born and brought in Mumbai. Mumbai is somewhat like Pakistan. Azaan is blasted through loudspeakers continuosly from 4 am to 5 am,

I love the sound of Azaan. As I love the Ganesh artis. Or church bells for that matter. That's how a uniquely secular India was supposed to be. Everyone to love and participate in the other's good religious tidings? I don't see what could be wrong with that arrangement.

There are Sonu Nigam types who are annoyed by the Azaan. I've been away from India for far too long to realize there's like millions of Sonu Nigam types. It certainly wasn't a problem when I was there.

If you don't like living in an integrated neighbourhood, get out and go live a place where your community/caste is in majority. Nobody's stopping you. For many people in Mumbai, there's just not the option to be living in segregated surroundings. It's such a cheek-by-jowl place.

Muslims praying in middle of the roads,

As if Hindus don't erect pandals in the middle of the road. Again it's a lack of space thing.

Muslims couples walking around with 10-15 children.

That's a flat-out lie. No one in the world today has the luxury to create 10-15 children. At most I have seen 2-3 or 4-5 children in Mumbai. Also many Muslims live in joint families. So if you saw too many children, there was someone going out with his brother's or even neighbour's kids.

What kind of monster feels ANGER towards innocent children? Maybe Rajnikanth does, he's a pos in real life (sorry if your his fan)

Btw I am shifting back to Mumbai next week. Wish me luck!
Do bring ear mufflers and oxygen filters given your xenophobia towards Muslims.

Pune. How come so many Hindutvadi bigots per live in that city per sq. km? That's why it will always remain a shadow or distant cousin of Mumbai. It's grown in area and population but certainly a small town conservative mindset. Well each to their own.

As I said to another poster, if you're a non-Maharashtrian in Mumbai, you most likely have never cared about Pune. I didn't even know there was a word called "Punekar" in the pre-Internet era. To be sent away to Poona was considered a colloquial slang for a mental asylum or something, similar to Alibag.

Of course the Internet era has changed all that. But still fewer people in Bombay care about Pune.

I really think Bombay should separate from Maharashtra and be its own Union Territory or something.

Modern Bollywood is the worst. They have completely lost the plot when it comes to acting, dialogues, screenwriting, music. Despite superior technology such as Ultra-HD camerawork and electronic music, the disappointing lack of acting and writing talent has turned Bollywood into utter trash.

Do you know what happened to this ba$tard? He went blind in both eyes, lost his hearing and became wheel chair bound. He was released on grounds of ill health, as the prison couldn't look after what is best described as a vegetable. Karma caught up with this 'warrior'.

Jesus Christ. I don't wish that on even enemies. But in life, there are consequences for being a jack-hole. I am not saying I feel delighted at someone's misery in that manner. But definitely it is justice.

Anyway RIP brothers and sisters of Gujarat, you won't be forgotten.

They will never be forgotten and Narendra Modi and Amit Shah will have to be tried for those crimes in Hague or other tribunals. If not in earth, then surely in heavenly court, these two scumbags will never get away for what they did.

You must be a Townie. I finally found out the meaning. Anything south side of the Bandra Sea-link right. The old Victorian Bombay.

Anyways, all these Maratha nationalists are so unpleasant. Very thuggish and chawl-like. Even among my Indian friends, the least likeable is the Marathi guy (if I can even call him a friend). Always have to walk on eggshells around him cause he's so anal about his Marathi-ness and Hindu-ness.

I am a townie, but was not that upscale as someone who lives in Malabar Hill, Napean Sea Road, or Cuffe Parade. These areas have high value residential properties which have been historically captured by these Bawa types, and other land-grabbers from almost every community in India (most recently a lot of Marwaris, Gujaratis, but also Indian Muslims live in those areas.) Even Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a Mumbaikar once. They are such superb places. But it doesn't matter. Anywhere south of Bandra which is the first suburb out of town, you get almost pure oxygen (imagine in a city like Mumbai). The pollution is very less. Running water supplies are 24x7. Including in the slums (even the "town" has slums including the world's famous Dharavi).

They aren't so bad to deal with in real life. These Internet goons on this website are from a whole different planet.

But yes they are generally conservative, and somewhat dislikeable unless you grew up around them. That's why I don't mind their types.

I don't have a problem with their Marathi-ness. But don't expect me to speak your language (although I do speak it somewhat but I refuse if compelled). Mumbai/Bombay was never supposed to be with Maharashtra. It was a Victorian heritage town built from scratch by the British. The Maharashtrians just took over 1960 but they still don't call the shots in many areas of the city. I personally feel that city should go back to being a Union Territory or be even an independent country (lol, that's extreme). But seriously proper Bombayites have nothing in common with other Indians.

However, the Marathi chicks and young girls aren't half as bad as the blokes. In fact, they're not too bad at all. I generally like them. :smitten:If I write some real juicy details about those girls, all these Marathi posters on this site will report me again.

I can understand. Karachi has a similar divide from the rest of Pakistan. Heck there is a divide within Karachi too; south of the Clifton bridge is the hip Karachi, north of that is the riff raff (something that's become a running gag). There's just something large urban cosmopolitan cities have in their air, that people from the hinterlands or smaller areas can never get. A liberal no nonsense entrepreneurial attitude. So they pull us down by calling us elitist and snobby.

Hah hah, you're right on the money with the bolded part. I'll buy you a beer or whatever is your preferred booze.

I don't mind the hinterlanders. They have so many more areas to live in, just don't invade liberal pockets with your $hitty attitudes. Girls in Bombay proper have been smoking cigarettes since the 1960's or perhaps earlier. In the rest of India, it was until recently considered improper for women to smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol. Now changing though but still these Pune types or whatever are very conservative. A girl smoking/drinking just makes them bat$hit angry. And they call ME the misogynist! :woot:

I don't really know these Pune or other hinterlanders that well, so I don't care. They are free to correct me all they want. They'll remain always jealous that their conservative holes can never be Bombay.

Bombay and Karachi should be Twin cities given so much similarity, I don't see a problem there. But even we have too many riff-raff invading the good areas. Maybe the Bombay I once loved has been ruined permanently. :azn:

Agreed. The ones named Sonali are the best...lol

I've grown up in South Bombay. After Dadar it's an alien city for me. I was never a party animal even in my young days. Always used to make the necessary appearances, stay to the side behind out of the mela somewhere drinking and smoking and then katlo patli galli with my crowd for some privacy someplace else. Poona in the early 90s was a hippie town. Kids everywhere. Now it's becoming Bombay slowly. But the vibe will always be different. At least in Camp and Deccan and the old areas.

Do you know what happened to this ba$tard? He went blind in both eyes, lost his hearing and became wheel chair bound. He was released on grounds of ill health, as the prison couldn't look after what is best described as a vegetable. Karma caught up with this 'warrior'.

I remember the riots well, and I also remember holding back the Pakistani youth/young men from retaliating in the UK. We had Hindu priests, from every sect, swaminarayan, arya samaj, HSS the lot visiting Pakistani mosques, one came to mine, urging the community not to take events there and bring them there. Rightly so. Generally the British Indian community doesn't bring that sort of stuff into relations they have here with the Pakistani community. Yes sure they support Modi and the BJP, but it's just a quiet private thing.
The US is another question, the support for the Safron revolution is massive, I even remember many of them celebrating online at the carnage in Gujarat, boasting about how they raped scores of Muslim girls ,and they were pretty dolls to be played with and ripped apart afterwards. Needless to say if they uttered such a word in a alternate reality i.e. our population was living near them, it would have been the 'the long kiss goodnight' for them.
Cowardly, skinny filth the lot of them.

Anyway RIP brothers and sisters of Gujarat, you won't be forgotten.

The Muslims started it.

You can write 5000 pages about it as a dissection.

But the Muslims started it.

The All India Tanzeem Ulama-e-Islam, a religious and social organisation headed by five senior clerics, has issued a fatwa to boycott Chinese products in the country.

The clerics said the community members should stand with the army and government in this hour.

Expressing concern over India-China face-off, National general secretary of All India Tanzeem Ulama-e-Islam, Maulana Shahbuddin Rizvi expressed concern over the India-China face-off and said, "A fatwa has been passed for boycotting Chinese products on a query posted by a Bareilly-based resident. The clerics in the fatwa have condemned the conspiracy of China to encroach upon Indian land and the killing of our brave soldiers."

The panel of five clerics include national president of All India Tanzeem Ulama-e-Islam Mufti Ashfaq Hussain Qadri, Mufti Iqbal Ahmad Misbahi, Mufti Tauqir Ahmad Qadri, Mufti Hashim Raza Khan and Qari Saghir Ahmad Rizvi.

Both these cities were built and owned by Parsis.

Cute to see two Pakistanis laying claim to it.

In the real world you wouldn't get past the gate of our private watering holes.

Sad sad sad poor little cchokra bois.

"Private watering holes in Dadar Parsi colony"? Are you serious? Perhaps they do exist but I have never been interested in Bawa spinster women, so I wouldnt know. I had just been past my college days when I left India for Germany for studies.

Besides I have serious doubts about your Bawa status. You could be who you say you are but you sound more like an amalgamation of every living Parsi stereotype. It's like Joe Shearer claiming to eat rasgullas and fish in every post which he doesn't in fact.

There is a good chance you're actually a 'Punekar" Maharashtrian that shuttled long enough in Bombay. And probably worked for a Bawa boss or even did cootie coo for some time with a Parsi spinster woman.
