You don't have to involve us.....anything that happens between our two neighbors will become our problem.....The best solution is to solve it diplomatically.....we have to pressure Burma into not making more refugees....More refugee=bigger recruitment bank for terrorists.....then we have to repatriate them from where they came from

It won't make apt sense to pressure Myanmar because they don't recognize these people as Myanma nationals. The Rakhine state was a part of the Burmese Empire which included the territory but according to official records, not these people. So pressure whom?

The Burmese say Rohingya speak sylheti dialect of Bangla and don't belong there and are ethnically and externally also not like Myanma people.

Your government does not recognize them as citizens of Bangladesh because there are no official records of their migration or crossing into Myanmar.

Then who is the authority from whom we can negotiate?

......direct military action will fail.....it has failed in Afg miserably.....it will also fail here.....To be honest neither India nor Burma has a good track record for crushing terrorist organizations or insurgencies....

Militancy was very well crushed by our military with extreme force in the 90s when J&K was reduced to a mini-Afghanistan.

The problem came when sympathizers and USA (then a Pakistan ally) used 'human rights' to stop our fighting.

Myanmar doesn't have that baggage and can go forward in full force like how Russia did against separatists in Chechnya.

And we have never faced major threats ourselves either....you can hold up against them for a long time but more and more innocent people will die....so we must try our best to diplomatically solve it!

These guys are targeting us Buddhists in India.

What do we tell the Myanmar government? 'Take them because they are killing Indian Buddhists'?

We don't want to fight but the war has already started.

Sadly, these people will also be misguided by these bloody IM and other loony groups against us and will have to be finished off.

How much of bloodshed for nothing..

Rohinya's have been there since the 1400s(http://www.soas.ac.uk/sbbr/editions/file64388.pdf)....they were Bengalis who were sent to fight for a Arakan king.....They are in no way Bangladeshis.....Indian Bengalis have more things in common with Bangladeshis than Rohingyas do and Indians are not Bangladeshis.....There is no 'Myanmar people'....there are different ethnicities living there......I hardly put my faith in 'official records' of a military junta.They are Burmese and must be repatriated to Burma......Send them back and force Burma to take them.....Let Burma deal with them.You can declare war against the Rohingyas and fight for the Burmese (to strengthen you influence over Burma) but if I were you I wouldn't expect much from a state that is heavily dependent on your 'friend',China!
Or there is another solution.....We take in the Rohingyas and 'resettle' the Chakmas,Marmas,Zomis and Rakhaines from Bangladesh to their native land of Burma!

Why are you being so radical? Such actions will result in the death of millions of innocent rohingyas and we of all people should know this given our war history in 71. Instead build rohingya camps, ask for foreign donations in the billions, and beefen up security among the camps so terrorism wouldnt flourish. A moderate, effective plan.

Indian intention is clear interfere in Cox's Bazar and Teknaf region and throttle Bangladesh connectivity inititives with Maynmar using this stage manage propaganda. Even during the '71 War India had targeted N Bengal for special embrace. Late Qamruzzaman was a senior cabinet minister in the Mujibnagar Govt and the top most BAL leader from N Bengal. He was variously approached by elements / agencies of India to think differently from the goal of BD. Qamruzzaman was a patriot and had seen through this game of inciting secession even before the country was liberated. He had reported the matter to PM Tajuddin. @J dud Black Widow was talking about the continuous harassment Shahrukh Khan and many other renowned Indians face in USA airports just for being Muslims. Shahrukh Khan publicly said that he faced this type of harassment in most USA airports just for the sake of ensuring that he is not a terrorist and he is not carrying any bomb to blow up the next airplane. USA and some European countries are profiling any Muslim sounding name at the international airports and creating a mess.
