Stick to the topic. And the topic is 'Indian military build up close to Chinese border'. My last reply.
You brought up Nepal, so you got it back.
Btw, with a squadron of MKI's posted at Tezpur, what options do the Chinese have? How would a short term conflict, if any at all, unfold?
Would the Chinese risk throwing some of their second line aircraft at the MKI's and suffering some losses while bagging an MKI or two, or would they field their best frontline fighters and risk exposing any shortcomings in their aircraft potentially damaging foreign military sales?
Indian military has not been sitting idle on its arse since '62. Any confrontation of the ground forces will have far reaching negative consequences for both sides. At best (or worst- whichever way you might look at it) it would be a phyrric victory for any one side!
Any involvement of naval forces would be a remote possibility, if any. In any case, would the Chinese risk sending their submarines into the IOR with the US stationed in the Deigo Garcia? You have to also consider the doctrine with which the PLAN has developed its naval forces. Will they really risk sending surface vessels into the IOR and face salvos of BRAHMOS from Indian vessels?
I would really like to know any other possibilities.
@communist - post any sensible stuff if you can, dont waste effort and bandwidth with your incoherent drivel.
