they dont want their pride hurt in the face of commonwealth games and all; one shooting already took place. They seem confident that communal tensions will hit the ceiling again over a video of the (most unfortunate) destruction of the Masjid.

What you pakistanys don't seem to understand is that saving innocent lives and avoiding social unrest is more important than pleasing pakistanys by putting up a show of our societal harmony for their benefit and marvel.

And the particular video has been aired in India thousands of times and was never banned, including now, its a precautionary measure only for the impending court decision on a controvercial matter - and that precaution is taken by media not govt. But a pakistany is unlikely to be that reasonable, most unfortunately for south asia.

If Mr. Jinnah would have foreseen what the Pakistan Military did to the East Pakistanis in 1971, or the Sunnis to the Shias and vice-versa, or the Muslims to the Ahmedis, or to the Balochis or to the Mohajirs or to the people in the NA, and seeing the lawlessness in FATA, and seeing the Blasphemy Laws and the Hudood Ordinances, he surely would have been turning in his grave on what happened to his idea of the TNT ; Hey, here i have carved a beautiful nation called Pakistan exclusively for the Muslims, but looks like there should have been an MNT (Multiple Nation Theory) in place for such bigots.

Deliberate obfuscation. First there are no Hindu judges or Muslim judges in India. They are judges, pure & simple. Might be a difficult thing for you & your ilk to fathom but the only book that our judges look to for guidance while passing judgment is the Constitution.

Secondly, you have been deliberately misconstruing what the judge said. All that he said was that efforts for a compromise can & must be continued even until the 24th of September. If a compromise is worked out between the parties concerned, that would be great. If not, the judgment would follow. I am not sure what you know of law but it is a fairly common practice to try & sort out a solution amicably. In any case the majority have already ruled against the petition which was filed, only on the grounds that an out of court settlement has been tried & not succeeded & unlikely to work this close to the judgment. They never opposed an out of court settlement, only ruling that they would not push back the judgment waiting for that to happen.
