Testing GAU21 Machine gun onboard CG Dhruv.
 
Naval Dhruv mk3 fitted with SAR and ISAR capable nose-mounted radar and EO pod.32 were ordered in 2018. First batch will be soon handed over to Indian navy and coast guard.

The helicopter is also equipped with GAU21 high power machine gun and low-frequency dunking sonar manufactured by Bharat Electronics Limited.

our helicopter industry is huge now .

we will soon have much bigger order for the indengious combat helicopter which will supplement the powerful apache helicopter from.usa

I see around 60 plus light attack helicopters supporting 22 or 28 apache in the army by 2025

and it looks like the long term.replavmcememt for the Russian supplies mi17 will be In house too.

no thats the Dhruv we have 300 in service

how many jf17 have crashed to date

is it 4 or 5

you see your getting confused

we now have 3 different indengious helicopters hence my claim.we have a massive in ability to design out own.helicopters thanks to success of dhruv

LUH made its first flight in 2017 and will be replacing Chetaks and cheetals in service with Indian Armed forces.

RUAV Heli-UAV at AeroIndia 2021.

HAL RUAV is India's First Unmanned Rotary-Wing Aerial Vehicle has immense utility for high altitude areas. As per open sources it has almost same payload capability to those heights as the Cheetah helicopters have which we presently operate.
