But Government India do not owe $520 billion. Around $196 billion of it is corporate debt. Borrowing by private and public entities like Banks as guarantors in various purchases. In short, the government can easily cover it's debt with the Forex.

No. Only $110 billion the last time I check. That's the total debt government owes to different lenders. I just gave the sector who owes the debt, which is private or non government entities in previous replies. Non government debt is $400+ billions.
