Actually yes, there are winners - not individuals, but sides. One side is attempting and failing to take Kashmir, the other side is trying and succeeding in keeping Kashmir. Guess who the winning side is?

Yes, our armymen, CRPF and Kashmiri policemen have been martyred in the line of duty. Their loss is mourned, but the cause in which they died is not a failed one, unlike that of the "mujahids".

Arey! Please check out the population of Kashmiris in India, and the number engaged in militancy. The former is some 10 million plus, the latter is in the 3 or 4 digits. It is a fact, J-K itself has a population of 10 million plus, and India would not be able to hold that state if all of them were up in arms against India.
