2 civilians injured in Poonch

Poonch, Aug 22: Pakistani troops opened fire on at least four Border Out Posts (BOP) along the Line of Control in Kerni sector of this border district, officials said.

Two persons were injured when mortar shells fired from across the border landed in Kerni village, official sources said adding that repeated shelling and firing from the two sides has already created a wave of panic among the border residents. The injured were identified as Noor Jahan w/o Muhammad Din r/o Kirni and a 4-year old girl Farzana Kounser d/o Khadam Hussain r/o Qasba. Farzana was admitted in Poonch Hospital where she is responding to treatment.

Official sources said that the ceasefire violation, third since Wednesday, led to heavy exchange of fire from both the sides, as Indian army retaliated. “Pakistan army troops opened fire with small and automatic weapons on forward posts in Poonch today at around 1205 hrs,” defence spokesman Col RK Palta said.

The firing from across the border prompted Indian troops to retaliate, leading to intermittent exchanges which were on when reports last came in, he said.Pakistani forces fired on Indian forward areas in Kerni-I and Kerni-II in Poonch sector, reports stated.

Pakistan Army had on Wednesday night committed two violations of the ceasefire by firing mortar shells at LoC posts in separate sub-sectors of Poonch district, drawing retaliation from Indian troops, Palta said. Firing on several Indian posts in Hamirpur sub-sector along the LoC started at 2130 hrs last night, he said."Our troops retaliated effectively and the exchanges continued till 2230hrs," he added.

Pakistan troops had also fired at Indian posts in the Mendhar sub-sector of Poonch at around 2230 hrs. The firing there continued till 2300 hrs, Palta said. "The 2003 Indo-Pak ceasefire has become meaningless. There is daily firing these days as was witnessed before 2003," said a senior security official. The 225-km long LoC in the Poonch-Rajouri sector has been witness to daily violations of the ceasefire since August 10, adding up to 28 incidents so far this month. There have been over 80 ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops this year, officials said.

And I don't discriminate, if you're Indian, you will be getting it.

Pls spare Dalits and Muslims. As @Gautam said in above post that Zaid Hamid has promised us.
PS: only if you have balls.
