If my memory serves me right, then the legal hurdles were with regard to Tin Bigha, which is now open. The court cases were lodged by the residents whose land was to be acquired by the GoI in order to lease it to BD. India promised to ratify the '74 treaty only after finalization of demarcation, which was to be done jointly. Mujib was murdered in August '75, next year, and the whole thing went into the freezer.

They are finally getting their act together,the BSF has managed to fence a lot of the border and now they shoot to kill.Unfortunate but their is no other way.BD is going to go under water if the global warming theory is right,it will too late to build a fence then.

the Indo-Bangla border is very porous and has a lack of a buffer zone or a "no man's land" at places...and there are houses constructed on the border...total fencing is almost impossible.

Population dynamic changes if allowed to by the majority..if the white people in the US decided to kick out all the others then the proportion of minorities wont increase similarly if the Hindus decided to kick out all the minorities or undertake policies which encourage them to migrate then the population of minorities will decrease not increase.This is what has happened in BD and to a larger instance in Pakistan,this did not occur in India.Your claims of ethnic cleaning is laughable.

The only reason why Pakistan has a small Hindu population is because we lost East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) in 1971. East Pakistan always had a larger Hindu population than West Pakistan (now Pakistan).

Pakistan has 95%-96% Muslim population compared to 97% Muslim population just 5 years ago. Also the Hindu population in Pakistan has increased since 5 years ago.

Pakistan is the second-most populous Muslim-majority country and also has the second-largest Shi'a population in the world. About 95% of the Pakistanis are Muslim, of which nearly 75% are Sunni and 20% are Shi'a.

You would not understand social injustice hindu religion imposes becuse you are one of them who imposing. So live with the truth. We do not commit genocide against our minorities. We do treat them as same respect like all citizens.

Since, independence Bangladesh minority had not been reduced but steady. On the other hand Muslim population grown faster rate than hindus. At any case india and indians manufacture stats for propaganda and to justify ethnic cleansing only. Unless and until hindu dominance is established indians will keep on their propaganda trail.
