Dateline: DHAKA, Bangladesh Dhaka has protested alleged attempts by Indian border guards to forcibly deport Bengali-speaking Muslim Indians into Bangladesh, a report said Monday.The Indian Embassy denied the allegations.

Indian border security forces reportedly gathered about 400 Bengali- speaking Muslims near the border over the weekend and tried to force them into Bangladesh, a border official said on customary condition of anonymity.

Bangladesh border guards stopped the Bengali-speakers from crossing over because they could not show any identity papers or prove that they came from Bangladesh, the official said.
The Bengali-speakers were taken away by Indian guards ..

DHAKA, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) foiled a huge push-in bid of more than 150 Bengali-speaking Indian Muslims along the northwestern Panchagarh border in the earlier hours of Wednesday.

Border Security Forces (FSF) of India are continuing their efforts to push-in hundreds of their nationals through the porous points of the entire north-western bordering areas, but adequate steps have been taken to foil all such attempts, the official news agency BSS reported Thursday.

Seriously, as a Indian, I am embarrassed to see out of all, now bangladesh comes and gives us heat. We need to completely secure the Bangladesh border. Even birds should not be allowed to infiltrate in. We have 1.5 crores illegal bangladeshis in our country who get their indian passports even before actual Indians. CPM party is a disgrace to India.

We are really surrounded by chaos on all sides.

They are finally getting their act together,the BSF has managed to fence a lot of the border and now they shoot to kill.Unfortunate but their is no other way.BD is going to go under water if the global warming theory is right,it will too late to build a fence then.

The founder of Gospel for Asia says recent violence against Christians in one Indian state is leading to ethnic cleansing.

Anti-Christian extremists in Orissa state began attacking homes last month. They also attacked churches and other Christian ministries after a well-known Hindu leader was murdered. While the attacks seem to be subsiding in larger cities, they continue in more remote areas.

Gospel for Asia (GFA) missionaries on scene say the current wave of attacks is planned out and now involve nine districts. K.P. Yohannan, president of GFA, says it appears the attacks are a type of ethnic cleansing.

"Hindu radical fundamentalists want to kill out all the Christians they can possibly find and they're hunting them down…800 plus houses [have been] destroyed and burned down and 26 of our church buildings destroyed," he decries.


The ministry leader reports that at least 24 GFA missionaries have been attacked and some have joined thousands of other Christians seeking refuge in the forests. At least six people have been killed.
