Indian chopper forced to land in Olding, Pakistan, after violating airspace

An Indian military Cheetah helicopter belonging to the 666 Siachen Falcons Squadron that violated Pakistani airspace near the Line of Control in Kargil sector in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan at 1:00 p.m. (PST) was forced to land near Olding, Pakistan after being intercepted by Pakistan Air Force fighter jets. The helicopter has been impounded and all four Indian military personnel on board have been taken into custody by the Pakistan Army. The four military personnel include 1 pilot (a Colonel), 1 co-pilot (a Major), 1 Engineer (a Major) and a JCO. The helicopter and crew are now in Skardu.

Reports are coming in that an Indian military helicopter has landed near the Line of Control in Olding (Kargil sector) in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. The helicopter and its pilot have been taken into custody by the Pakistan Army.

Just seen breaking news on PTV that an Indian helicopter with four crew on board had entered Pakistan airspace and has been forced to land and arrested those on board near the Kargil sector.

Like we did before? Don't challenge us Pakistanis. We like collecting trophies of our enemies.

I say keep the helicopter and send the pilot back after debriefing.

According to PTV news the military sources are saying that it was forced to land in Pakistan after it violated the LOC. The crew consist of 4 people. All are in custody of Pakistan army.
