Indian CAS tol visit BD and take salute during BMA passing out parade

Okay..let the investigation take its course.Just being curious here, what would India have gained from this Pilkhana incident??

To demoralize the BD army as it was the only institution that could effectively oppose Indian hegemony over the country. Revenge for the killing of 200-400 BSF in 2001 when they intruded into BD territory. .

No it won't be so easy to dispose of the evidence contained in my book. A smug and pithy comment is no alternative to a well reasoned argument.

Last time some part of book quoted by me in any of thread, some think about 26/11 is inside job . Enough for your credibility :disagree:

Its your bad luck that you are not Indian otherwise if any Indian said any thing against India so he/she be quite popular on PDF

.
Under these circumstances it would be abhorrent for BD cadets to salute the Indian CAS. It would be a sign of subservience and humiliation.

It was not an accurate quote and it was taken out of context.

@ MBI Munshi

Just out of curiosity whats your book called? And where can one get it from.

Yes our cadets will give salute to the Indian CAS when the Pilkhana massacre is properly investigated and the masterminds brought to trial. If no Indian hand is found then that will give a good argument for giving such a salute but also when the BSF stops shooting at our nationals along the border. As long as we are at constant war with India and our people are being killed we should not dignify the CAS with a salute.

Any arm forces bound to follow the state policy .so in your logic we can not salute or give any worm welcome to PM of India who is coming .we both are neighborer so we have to follow some courtesy .

Do you remember the incident when the wife of the Indian High Commissioner slapped a NSI officer and no one raised their voice? What about the Indian High Commissioner who tore and threw in the face of our Foreign Minister a diplomatic note or when the Indian government cancelled their attendance at the SAARC summit during the last BNP Government. Do the BSF show our citizens any courtesy?

HOW FAR DO WE HAVE TO BEND TO PLEASE THESE INDIANS AND CONTINUE TO SHOW THEM COURTESY? WHEN WILL THEY SHOW US COURTESY AND TREAT US LIKE HUMAN BEINGS?

A dog shows its master courtesy after it is repeatedly kicked. How many times do you have to be kicked before you kick back and show them that you are a human being?

I don't understand the thread starter's phsyche. a country's COAS visits the other's military academy on passing out day and gets salute from the parade, so whats wrong every soldier salutes a friendly country's senior officers, and he was invited of course to the academy which is obvious..... its simply the normal military culture and etiquette ........... whats so dramatic about this particular case?? in fact i think this is a good attempt to better the army-to-army relations!

The word friendly is at the crux of the dispute ......
