Except that the thread is about INDIAN attempts to link him to Pakistan's state, culture, raison d'etre etc.

It is undeniable that India has tried to make this link and influence the narrative in this way.

UK media has certainly been responsible in its reporting. The thread takes issue with usual Indian Bollywood hype. Every criminal with any connection to Pakistan by lineage by default implicates Pakistan as a nation according to Indian media.

Like dogs barking at the moon to force it to come down out of the sky.

It does NOTHING of the sort. Just mentions that he visited Pakistan and talks about indian claims regarding him. You are claiming that he got terrorist training from Pakistan.

Hilarious , there was no India before Partition ,It was combination of states ruled by different Hindu and Muslim rulers .Pakistan and India was formed in 1947 .If that was the case, why North eastern states did not merge with India ,Why hyderabad did not want to be part of India ,Why Kashmir did not want to be part of India ,Why you annexed Goa , Why you attacked Hyderabad ?Infact , Pakistan had referendum in NWFP to merge with Pakistan .All the states in Pakistan agreed to become Part of Pakistan not India .Come out of your inferiority complex that Pakistanis are of Indian origin .

Look @PAKISTANFOREVER - The thread said 'Indians are trying to connect....'. I am showing it is Guardian and similar news sources that are connecting Pakistan to this terrorist act by showing Usman's terror planning visit to Pakistan - in fact he was convicted for that trip. I am not insinuating anything; if you feel any such insinuation may be it is your ultra guilty conscience.

They are less concerned with Islam and more concerned with power.

The reason they supported Wahhabist movement was to weaken the Ottoman Empire and to crush any chance of its revival.

And it was the fault of Muslims as well that they bought into it. Not just the fault of the west. Perhaps the statement "Islam didn't work to grow strong the unity of Muslims around the world, but only weakened the nationalist identity of groups" is true.

it beats me why Pakistan would allow a British citizen and a convicted terrorist to be buried on its soil
this is poor PR even if the decision was based on humanitarian grounds or family considerations
