Three possibilities
1) Just a show of power to pak-china excercise at indian border(very likely)
2) Army called in to control sikhs khalistan movement and farmers. But then why they need bofors? (likely)
3)A real misadventure against pakistan (remote possibility)
Although that heavy artillery shows most probably they are moving towards border targets.
