Dude I hate to burst the general "They are feeling guilty because of the terrible things they have done" riff you have going. Very few soldiers feel guilt during insurgencies. The general feeling is (to be quite frank) "If they are not with us then they are against us" Most of the stress is caused by combat operations, lack of leave and family related issues. The effect of PTSD tend not to surface until AFTER the person leaves the combat area or the service.

For those of you not familiar with these things. I suggest reading the book "The scars of war" by Hugh Macmanners.

How about the soldiers who do such acts like fake encounters, rape, shook/kill innocent Kashmiries, first of all r they caught( they have to be in thousands cuz thousands of these incidents have occurred), so when r they gonna be caught & r they gonna get the same death sentence or not

Yes stress is the cause, Soldiers often live away from family lots of restrictions are applied to them Plus lower Salary compared to what civil servants are getting.

Yes certain police personnel and soldiers were caught and reprimanded for fake encounters /rape this problem is also due to above. If someone from behind the crowd fires at them what do you expect them to do ? stand silent?

Bull Crap, Thousand have happened, It has happened here and there cuz of the BAD APPLE syndrome in some, those have been caught. What you conviently forget everytime, is that these are INdian authourities and Indian Judicial system who Punish and Catch these very individuals. God damn it you people drive me nuts! You all don't have any idea how these things work. So let me spell it our for you.

1) "terrorists" or "freedom fighters" can't exist without the will of the people there. Otherwise they would get caught in 30 seconds flat.

2)heavy handed tactics or extra judicial killlings (of any sort) alienate locals hence giving more support to the T's or FF's

3)If it was as simple as a lot of people claim then the problem would have been solved years ago........If you want to look at the MANY examples around the world you will see.

4)Those of you who brush off a few deaths as "bad apples" ought to check what the result of a few deaths in Northern Ireland (bloody Sunday) where. It recruited a whole new generation of T's or FF's. Plus on a moral level you aren't doing yourselves any favours.......
