what's done is done i suppose ,

the recent attack have upped the ante.
We all knew this was inevitable

We tried diplomacy , it failed

we tried localizing the issue and leaving it with the states to deal with them , some states had success others did not.

we tried a centre lead initiative , we had mixed results.

We have tried numerous options before reaching this course of events , before reaching this point.

in the last 2 months we have lost over 200 people to moaist attacks , that can't go unanswered.

It is clear that our current tactics are not having the kind of success we want ,

I guess sending in the army on top of all other efforts may finally be move to finish it.

If people feel that makes us a failed state , then that's just how it has to be.

But keep in mind this can end at any time ,

if Maoist's cared for India like you or me , they would stop. surrender their weapons and come to negotiate.

All we want is an end to naxal violence , if we cant get them to stop.
We will just have to stop them.
