Indian army issued notification for technical graduation course 2014. Candidates who completed engineering or studying final year of graduation are eligible for the technical graduation course. Psychology aptitude test and other tests will be conducted for selection of candidates. One year training is given for the selected candidates at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun.
Dehradun: Indian Army issued notification for Technical Graduation course. Male married and unmarried candidates are eligible to apply. There are in total 80 posts in civil, mechanical, electrical/electrical and electronics, automobile/workshop technology 2, aeronautical/aviation / aerospace, ballistics, avionics 2, computer science and engineering / computer technology /MSc computer science 6, electronics and communication / telecommunication /fiber optics /micro electronics and microwave 8 / electronics and instrumentation / instrumentation 3 , architecture / building construction technology 2, food technology / bio technology / bio medical engineering 2 /chemical engineering 2, metallurgy and explosives / metallurgical engineering 1, Industrial / manufacturing engineering / industrial engineering and management / production 2. In the education core there are 20 posts in MA / MSc in English / Economics / History / Geography / Political science / Psychology / physics / chemistry / mathematics / Chinese / Tibetan / Burmese / Arabic and so on. Age of the candidate should be between 20 and 27 years. For education core the age limit is between 23 and 27. Candidates who completed engineering and those who are studying final year of engineering degree course are eligible to apply.
Training for selected candidates begins at IMA in July, 2014. They have to produce their degree certificates within twelve weeks after commencement of course. Post graduates are eligible for education core. Final year students can also apply. Minimum height of the candidates should be 157 cm.
According to the notification, the selection of candidates for Indian Army Technical Graduate course will be based on SSB interview. This will be held in Allahabad or Bhopal or Bangalore. Interviews will be conducted by a group consisting psychologist, group testing officer and interviewing officer. Psychology aptitude test will be conducted first and those who qualify in the test will become eligible for next tests. Medical examination will be the final test.
