Imran sa'ab,apne jitni bhi guns ki picfture previous page mein post ki thi uss mein se koi bhi 155 mm gun nehi hain.Ha,yeh baat ekdom sahi hain ke in the matter of SPH and 155 mm towed guns/howitzer the Pakistani Army is far ahead than their Indian counterparts. The only advantage is that most of your 155 mm barring a couple of hundreds are very old surplus U.S.Army stocks and have limited range.OTOH,our M-46 guns which we have around 1200(may be more) has a range greater than most of your 155 mm barring the Panther. So,this technically negates the advantage P.A. has over the I.A. in the towed artillery dept. but as of this moment the P.A. is far ahead of I.A. in case of SPH:coffee:!!
@Argon Prime dada, what's your opinion in this matter(I mean,am i right or wrong in my assessment)??

Exactly.

But even 52 calibre giving only 41 or 42 for normal rounds, where as dhanush is capable of delivering normal rounds up to 38 km.then why to invest on heavy 52 calibre gun for just a 4 km increase in range.
The ranges you are mentioning, are not for regular full bore rounds but long range base bleed rounds. And as to why we should go for the heavier 52 ones, that's because once needs to get his soldiers every little improvement modern science has to offer,to maintain an edge over your opponent. And trust me on this boyo,3-4 km is not really that small when we subject is tube artillery.

.
So in other words, you have got nothing to back up your claim. And by the way, even our FH77B and Dhanush can use RAP rounds,so what??
I doubt PA would want to officially reveal they have RAP rounds but you know very well they have every chance of possessing such capability, given the fact they have the capable assets. So keep guessing until it's officially known. :P

Your FH77B and Danush can too? Good for you. :enjoy:

It does not matter when they were built,my friend. The thing that matters is the barrel length - the caliber as we speak. And the truth is,barring the 60 or so Panters and some SH-1s,all other 155mm guns in Pakistan Army arsenal are of L/39 caliber, the same as our old and soon to be replaced FH 77Bs,with maximum range of about 19 km,when using regular ammo.In contrast, our M 46 field guns give around 29 km with regular ammo, though their explosive punch is quite a notch lower than their 155mm counterparts.
