If India can fight to a stand still vs China, it will be a monumental victory for India that that means revenge the loss of 1962 for India. There is no way that India can invade Tibet or China proper as this is not even a possible scenario and India itself have no such plan or capability.

The most likely scenario is a repeat of 1962 or worse for India. But India might be able to stop a Chinese invasion as a possible but highly unlikely outcome.
