See you werent shot. This means they dont randomly shoot at trespassers. Only after they have heavy suspicion/ intelligence reports they resort to open fire.

And i dont buy the argument of somebody else shot the kid. What was he? a local goon???rival gang member shot him?

The thing is that even a thirteen year old can be big in size.I mean he may appear like a grown up from a distance.The thing that needs to be seen is whether or not any kind of warning was issued.Did anyone challenge him by shouting or firing warning shots nearby?If warnings were indeed issued then i have no sympathy for the boy.Entering a restricted area is itself bad (such areas generally have signboards indicating the restriction) and then you don't respond to warnings.But if he was simply shot dead then the strictest possible action is to be taken against the soldier.

Maybe..we cant say. It's too early to predict anything. Through investigation needs to be done. Anyways...intelligence reports of spys are common. Last week near DLRL hyderabad, an ISI spy was caught. And couple of months back near shamshabad airport also an ISI spy was caught who was whisked away by task Force.

what you are claiming. he is not a terrorist what he can do without any weapons. it wasn't subjected to security. don't insult that boy soul.

When you were small, there were no terrorists!

Sure there might be, but not the types that uses teenagers as suicide bombers. Today's terrorists are much more sophisticated, better equipped and trained then their counterparts of yesteryears (I blame the internet for that). After the Mehran incident , there were reports of Indian Security forces stepping up and reviewing the security of their bases. This may be a case of a sentry who snapped under pressure.

One can argue that this is a residential complex and there is no need of excessive force to protect it, but pls also not forget the 2002 Kaluchak massacre 2002 Kaluchak massacre - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia where the terrorists killed 18 family members of soldiers serving in Kashmir.

This death could have been avoided if the boy's parents took a little time in educating his son about the laws of the land like "Never beak into a restricted area".

why on earth will our army 'simply shoot a kid dead' ?? and after Karachi Incident they would have taken extra precautions..there has to be reason behind this shooting..

It was not inside any base. The place is called Island Grounds area that houses army residential quarters in non conflict city of chennai.
