You need to understand subtle differences in demographics in Kashmir and Jammu. In the Kashmir valley it’s the same people on both side of the LOC I.e Kashmiri Muslims. Indian Army regularly targets civilians on the Pakistani side but Pakistan cannot retaliate because we will kill our brothers and sisters on the other side. In Jammu, however where we are seeing most of the firing now people on the Indian side are mostly Hindus and Sikhs. So if we want to get revenge for killing of our civilians the only choice we have is to shoot across the International Boundary in Jammu. These Hindus were mostly settled by the Indian government in the borders area as they are considered more loyal and to change the demographics of J&K. This time around 40,000 Indians have been evacuated. Shows the extent of Pakistani retaliation. Last time we had such a situation like this few years ago 10,000 Indians had to leave home. The root cause of all this is the bluster from Indian civilian and military leadership. Every time you blow hot air your soldiers die and the civilians have to run away from your homes. Your policy of trying to intimidate Pakistan is hurting you more than Pakistan.

Seems like Indian Army is prepared for the Firing. The civilians have been removed to avoid civilian casualities. Now let's see how long Pakistani Army can play causality casuality.

You were being thrashed when you were firing, you lost thousands of your men but the news and figures were filtered by your state. Indian govt was literally begging all capitals to pressure Pakistan for withdraw.

You took nothing but were given back those peaks when h@r@31 N.S ordered withdrawl. Pakistan Army withdrew as ordered from all but that highest peak. Tiger Hill is strategic but not more than the peak that is liberated and under Pakistan control. Pakistan can monitor all your posts from these heights including tiger hill, and NH1D which is the only land route to Siachen.
