Indian Army convoy attacked in Kashmir, 6 soldiers injured

NEW DELHI: At least six soldiers were injured after terrorists on Saturday opened attacked an Army convoy on the outskirts of Srinagar city this morning.


"The terrorists attacked an Army convoy near south Kashmir's Qazigund town (in Anantnag district) when it was passing lower munda area along national highway," a senior Army official said, adding,"Six jawans have been injured and condition of one of the soldiers is said to be critical"



The area has been cordoned off and search operation was immediately launched by the security forces to track down the attackers.
