I am saddened to see that this has become a news.
This should have been like any common indian city celebrating independence day.

None the less this kind of media attentions makes a negative impact, it feels like that its a rare phenomena, where as this is a common and general practice all across the kashmir valley, leaving aside some places where there are tensions created by butt hurt politicians.

Really? Looks to me a well planed attempt to thwart general view of people regrading Kashmir and brutality of Indians...If they are not paid ones and came with genuine honesty by themselves....Then good for India and Kashmiris but I really doubt it.

I just Kashmiris of IOK to get on either side ; with Pakistan or India.....Hanging in middle is so painful for these poor people....

Miliooooooooonsssssss of awam celebrating the tricolor! Actually million was going to join this event but half of them were injured by shotgun fires of Indian army and half of them were not able to join due to curfew in Kashmir on "indian" independence day!
