What's new

Indian Air Force Stations.

With taxiways like those..
you need something like this in the Jet

No matter, one AWACS can be dedicated to controlling aircraft movements in and out of them.
Then of course there is Papa Garmin also.
What would I do without him! :P

The last one looks like a maze!!!

The left-most shelter has 7 possible exits i could count.

Yes, very impressive.
Reminds one of Victorian England. Creating Garden mazes was quite the rage then.

Pardon my ignorance guys, but what purpose would these maze of tracks serve if the mother ship it'self is targeted and taken out.
Attacking an airfield's runway that's protected under a SAM umbrella would be as demanding as attacking an aircraft shelter.
The dedicated weapons have also proved their deadly accuracy.

Well, at the base at Taif that you posted a picture of, there are 2 runways, roughly perpendicular to each other, and also two parallel taxiways as well, which could be used as runways in such a case. So that is about 4 possible runways. And thinking about it, who is gonna attack the saudis?

So as the Saudi motto goes

when you have money, why not!!
