On a cultural programme on Friday , west bengali actor Dev who came along in the entourage of WB CM Mamata Benarji , called for uniting the 2 bengals into 1 saying : " both banglas have the same dream , same will and since everything is same I call on both goverments to please make apar & opar Bangla (referring to both bengals) into one Bangla" .

(Its a vague statement. Did he mean he wants WB to secede from the Indian union and join BD? )
