After that, we get a news that India voted for UNHRC resoultions. Something is surely cooking behind the scenes which we dont know.

Israel knows that with 200 million muslims in India, we can not ignore the deaths of Muslim civilians in Palestine. Such resolutions have little impact in real terms though and hence have little impact on real relations.

First of all, the UN was founded for protecting peace in the world and human right, especially the lives of civilians.

Secondly, India as a major emerging country, a founding member of the UN, an aspirant of the UNSC, a modern democracy and as a BRICS member (The BRICS countries actively try to cooperate in such affairs) has its own geopolitical interests due to political, economic and other reasons.

So the UN is just another tool to further our own nation's interest.If one is so concerned about all of the above preachy stuff,I would humbly suggest them to look after our own populations which are persecuted by the very security agencies that were meant to protect them.No need to be a populist person who preaches others about everything under the sky and doesn't look at one's own failings.
