We should have more Sino-Pakistani nuclear cooperation. That would be more of an equal-equal partnership, between one developing country and another developing country.

The problem regarding the USA is that they are the sole superpower, they have no equals or peers, so it's harder for the other party to balance it.

How would be a India-Vietnam nuclear deal,we both are developing countries,just saying.

Instead of "protesting or looking for a foreign policy", how about you grow your country, turn it into a peaceful, safe and economically strong country and the world will listen to you. Heck with $$$$ in large amounts in your reserves if you can grow your economy, you can do your own R&D.

Blaming everything on the US, India or the bogy man won't help. Its time you took responsibility for your internal failures and worked hard as a nation to have these strategic relationships. It takes hard work to get to where India is today, comments made with frustration won't get you anywhere. You can't host a one dish party all the time and bring your plate empty to the table, but expect the US or other partners to bring a full plate for you. You have to contribute to the globe too and that'll only happen if you become a safe, democratic and economically strong country.

Sir, you don't need to protest anything of this sort.
The deal will allow India to purchase and operate foreign reactors and fuel to tide over power crisis that we face. When China offered Pakistan similar reactors for peaceful civilian use, not many had objections. Eisenhower's Atoms for peace program was based on the principle of allowing everyone to have benefits of peaceful use of atomic power and this is what the deal promises. I would welcome a similar arrangement for your country too.

Hopefully India have better luck, cause for China's experience, this is from just a few years ago and now even, delays in deliveries, cost overruns, defects, be it manufacturing or design, and political roadblocks, all kind of BS we had to put up with.

Sir here in India Russians, French and US companies are in competition to supply N reactors and that should bring in competitiveness. Luckily for us, we do have a fairly large size domestic N program (based on PHWRs) and therefore in worst case scenario we may have fuel supplies getting affected and in best case massive influx of large scale (1000 MWe+) reactors which actually are need of hour.
