India unilaterally withdraws troops from disputed Himalayan region, defusing tension with China

Yes, they are not dumb and that's why they will make the road. When no one is there to stop them, why would they not make it? Just think logically

Logically, BBC is correct as only India with draw, China still patrol the area. I think the confusion is that India media report that China have agree to withdraw the area. But China never made such a statement.

So someone is lying. If Chinese government is lying, than the global media is duped. Otherwise, India media is misrepresenting the fact. Which of these is more likely to you Indians?

Why would they need to patrol that area if they are gonna maintain permanent presence in Dokalam??!!

No one is lying, it's just that chicom cheerleaders are simply too stupid to comprehend the facts.

The Indian demand was to stop the construction - They forcefully stopped it
The Chinese demand was withdrawal of Indian troops so we can negotiate the fate of road - Indian troops Withdrew

The next move will dictate who won the stand-off. If Chinese don't construct the road its a win for India, but for now China have an upper hand that Indian troops withdrew first at their demand for talks.

Feel pitty on these Pakistani & Chineese poster boys .... chinees were threatening India each and every minutes but India was relaxed and finally chineese has agreed to pull back .... are they going to construct the road .....

Simply amazing from Indian govt ..... I loved the frustration of chineese officials each and every day

Well played India

It is very clear... Indian media is lying even their official stance and the media claims are contradictory, their own people are raising the questions and Modi's trolls on PDF are declaring those indians as mouthpieces of CPC. Also it is a historical fact that India media always spins the words and even makes up "facts" to feed Indian people who eagerly believe that. India a nation that deeply plunged in denial. A few who dare to question given multiple derogatory labels and threatened.

China on Monday confirmed via on-site checks that India has withdrawn personnel and equipment from Dong Lang (Doklam) after a military stand-off lasting more than two months.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said that Chinese personnel completed the on-site checkaround 2:30 p.m., adding that China will continue to safeguard its territorial sovereignty according to historical boundary treaties.

The Chinese government values its neighborly friendship with India, Hua said. It expects India to respect historical boundary treaties and basic principles of international law, and to work with China to safeguard peace and stability in the border area on the basis of mutual respect of each other's territorial sovereignty.

On June 18, more than 270 armed Indian troops with two bulldozers crossed the boundary in the Sikkim sector and advanced more than 100 meters into Chinese territory to obstruct routine road construction in the Dong Lang area of Tibet Autonomous Region.

1) Full Indian withdrawal including equipment by 2.30 PM China time
2) Chinese soldiers were present and checking the withdrawal
3) China will continue to exercise sovereignty over Doklam
4) No road were destroyed but only construction obstructed by Indians.
5) Trespass was only 100 meters into Chinese territory.

Please check India MEA statement, no mention of road cessation agreement nor mutual withdrawal by both parties. Only the word 'disengagement' was used to cover up withdrawal.

Stocks of Burnol just vanished in India.

The reaction of Indian members on this is similar to their reaction on Kalbhushan jadev case :)))

SO take a hint.

It is testimony rather testis-money hurt and frustration viz a viz Indians ego.

I personally feel that Indian army is getting prepared for scuffle in coming days and thus this engagement will be escalated and Indian warmongering as well in near future.

Chinese were threatening Indians if they the later that is bharotis did not withdraw Then China will take some harsh step so at the end of the day Indians withdrew.

Secondly wrgt to your question if Chinese will construct the road or not ?? Well you should ask your government about details of agreement on the basis of which Indian troops were pulled back while Chinese troops will still patrol the area. Ask your government what did China agree about road construction.

In the meanwhile you should develop a habit for reading or watching news regularly of which one is the statement of Indian army chief Bipin wherein he said that Indian troops should expect such stand off in future too.

This clearly indicates that Chinese will keep attempting to construct the road while Indians will jump in BUT The big question is what measures this time China will have in place to tackle the Indian jump.

Thermonuclear..... oooo my my... ringmasters are leaking like cheerleaders... :toast_sign:

Where did XI said he will go ahead and make the road.. ? Stand-off was for road construction.. mighty dragon sealed it's tongue on construction... isn't it ?
LOL Chinese foreign ministry already made it clear. China continues to exercise full sovereignty over Doklam and India is back on your side of the border. Road building is a part of full sovereignty, as everybody knows.

Modiji's humiliation must be unbearable. Guru Singh should be your PM. Maybe then India will become a shupa powa!

It's alreaady so obvious, they said they withdrew, we told them we will continue to exercise our sovereignity as usual. Sovereign countries can't build roads?

Somehow I bet the next move is going to take a very long time. As in by the time the discussion is finished the road is already finished too.

The big question is what measures this time China will have in place to tackle the Indian jump.
The answer is Fists of Fury!!!

The thing is, chicom monkey, you ain't getting that road!!It has been shoved so deep up your stinky @rses, that it will be a feat just to pull it out!!
LOL at Indians going bonkers with humiliation.

If you elect Guru Singh as PM instead of Modi maybe you will become a shupa powa!
