And here is the point, Ahmadinejad was selling half the amount Rouhani sells today but with two times higher price, this mentality (if I don't, they do) should change or others will take benefit from it.

Sorry , there are something once u build an ecosystem on it and you will always depend on it. Aero engine and major radar are not Lego that can be easily plug and play. LCA engine cannot be easily replaced with another engine. This is a true fact. Same as IN destroyer and LRSAM fitted with Israel system.

You are certainly not aware of modular design, are you?

FYI, initially LCA was designed with Kaveri in mind. Only when Kaveri didn't materialized, F-404 was introduced. And F404 was modified by relocating gearboxes to fit the requirements of LCA airframe. There is a reason F404 for LCA is called F404-IN.
