I wouldn't be so sure if I were you, considering India's abysmal track records of projects on-time delivery against its grandiose announcements. LCA, GSLV-MK3, maned space flight, maned moon landing, to name a few. MoM is the only project that was delivered on time in recent memory.

Nonetheless, it will still be a great achievement since Indian is carrying on this project by its own now, despite a 5-year delay.

It is not about which country is more technologically advanced, but about the ability to plan and execute according to the set schedules. You guys tend to make announcements way ahead of yourselves, then followed with countless delays and cancellations. It is hard to take your schedules or deadlines seriously.
