Primary components had been supplied by Dong Fang in this particular 300 MW project. The interfacing software, safety logic, lay outs or the material quality are excellent compared to BHEL. I have worked with both the systems and I prefer the Chinese one than the Indian.That is great, I am working on financial closure of projects in Chattisgarh and Jharkhand - your view on Chinese equipment for Harbin and how do they compare with LnT and BHEL.
How can the Indian national grid sell to itself? This isn't how any profitable business functions. On the corruption front, such high level corruption has all but disappeared in India thanks to many scandals ("coalgate", spectrum allocation etc) and a very vigilant (and independent) government auditor (CAG).Assuming the profit won't be pocketed by corrupt politicians, why not directly sell to Indians to make a profit?
Indian NE is dirt poor.
@Mike_Brando
