India to boycott Commonwealth Parliamentary Union meeting in Pakistan

. .
What will India and Modi do to accomplish? Will Modi do a combination of a raunchy Bollywood item number and a spiritual Vedic hypno dance to woo the Commonwealth countries into "blasting Pakistani ***"? Perhaps enter the bed of David Cameron to ensure things go the right way? Or go the old fashioned way and dump a steaming pile of digested curry 'n' vegetables a threatening way to frighten the Commonwealth to submit to shupa pawa's demands?

man i said tht before in thread its not pakistan choice whom they have to invite, is customary acc to commonwealth parliamentary association to invited every one since it formed

. . .
So all the butt hurt actually is its being held in Pakistan. I would not have expected anything less from India, considering how the cry baby puts a ban on cricket matches, hockey matches etc.

And if after all the disputed territory's representatives have to attend then actual representative of people from that area should also attend. I mean not the puppets only genuine representatives too.

India has decided to boycott the Commonwealth Speakers' conference to be held in Islamabad later this month in protest against Pakistan's decision not to invite the Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, calling it a disputed territory.

india had a problem with us when we held elections in GB and claimed it is disputed now they wanna drag J&K into india? Where is the disputed status now?

@WAJsal

.

New Delhi: India will boycott a Commonwealth Parliamentary Union meeting in Islamabad next month in protest against Pakistan not inviting the Speaker of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, a decision that comes in the midst of tensions over two terror attacks in Punjab and J and K.

"A meeting of Speakers of all states here today unanimously decided that India will boycott the meeting of the CPU if the Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly is not invited," Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan told reporters after the meeting.

This follows Pakistan not sending an invitation to J and Kashmir Speaker to the Inter Parliamentary Union meeting to be held from Sept 30 to Oct 8 in Islamabad while invitations have been sent to all the other Speakers in India.

The decision of the Speakers come against the backdrop of simmering tensions between the two countries over the recent terror attacks in Gurdaspur in Punjab and near Udhampur in J and K by terrorists, perpetrated by terrorists who had infiltrated from Pakistan.

Mahajan said this was against a rule in the CPU in which all the Speakers, who are members of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA), have to be extended an invitation to the CPU meeting."It is wrong (on the part of Pakistan). They cited an old rule of 1951-57 regarding their having raised an issue in the UN Security Council for not inviting J and K Speaker," she said adding it had lost relevance.

The Speaker said Pakistan gave this reply when India took up the matter strongly with the CPA Chairperson and Secretary General against leaving out J and K Speaker."We (31 Speakers) reviewed this issue and felt this was wrong. We reject this decision (of Pakistan). We are writing to the CPA Chairperson that if I and K Speaker is not invited then India will not attend the meeting or change the venue (for us to attend)," she said.

Welcoming the decision J and K Speaker Ravindra Gupta, who attended the meeting, thanked the Speakers for the decision saying it was a question of unity and integrity of the country. He called Pakistan a terrorist state

Until Pakistan accepts Kashmir as integral part of India, India should not talk with Pakistan.

On this topic...Pakistan will be forced to reconsider its decision after so many countries backed India. Without India there is no commonwealth.

O acha yar na ao phir, idhar ham mar rahay hain kaisay tumharay anay par.

Seroously, this is now getting irritating.

Indians are just obsessed with Pakistan and the feeling that they are all superior to everybody in the region. Superiority complex.

Kaheen patakha path jaye to you guys throw a fit.

Jaisay chotay bachay hotay hain, koi un ko tang karay to they go and cry to their mom "Mummy us nay mujhay mara, mainay ayenda us kay sath nhn khelna". Same is the case here, we'll not play cricket.

Acha phir na khelo, get lost.

(This wasn't directed at you in a personal nature, but to the Indian state)

I am sure you folks will be getting irritated by this as well. Kuch karna hota hai to kar lia karo, warna chup ho kar beth jao.

I am sure you have heard the story about the boy who cries wolf.

Banda aik bar bluff karta hai, do bar karta hai, bauhaut hi takleef hai to 3 bar karta hai, but you guys have just crossed the limits here.

Cricket nhn khelen gay, this warrants a response, we will go inside Pakistan and bla bla bla...
