Will they slaughter the cow in india and then export the meat or will they export the cows?

Because india has 80% hindu population and in many places in india, slaughter of cow for its meat is banned, so this story doesn't make any sense.

Its Bufallo meat, not cow.

India’s exports are exclusively deboned frozen buffalo meat (carabeef) which is included in USDA’s global estimates of beef (bovine) meat production.

Apparently a lot of people. We export 1.5 Million Tonnes of it. So someone is definitely buying it(knowingly or unknowingly).

It clearly says that the bulk of it is buffalo meat.

While the bulk of Indian exports is buffalo meat bound for Middle East and Southeast Asian markets

Mine is exactly the same. I would put fish/prawns before chicken.

Actually I would eat chicken only if the other choice was paneer/vegetables.

That can't happen in India. There's be riots on the street if somebody were to do this to the cows in India.
