You dont understand how you got Aksai Chin do you? Pakistan during the war, took held it as it went thru its offensive. As the war went on, Pakistan immediately gave it away to China. It was never Pakistan's to begin with. It was given to you guys to drag you into the war, create enmity, or quite possibly to allow China to build a driect route to Pakistan.

You are mistaking shaksgam valley for Aksai Chin .

the chinese people's opinion will slowly change and they may start to see tibet not as part of china,
china is a kid in front of india in psyops, where perception management plays a vital role
psychology says you believe in what you see but whatever you see may not be the truth
so you may believe in something you should disbelieve

That would be a logical position to take. Recognition of Tibet as an autonomous part of the PRC was unnecessary and should have been connected to a total resolution of the border.

True, we lost the bargaining chip for nothing, in such negotiations offence is the best defence to put the opposition negotiator on back-foot. Even in case of Kashmir also we should stop talking about our Kashmir and start talking about their part of Kashmir. "Kashmir is an integral part of India" - is a defensive stance, we don't have the bargaining chip here, we should start saying that "Pak Occupied Kashmir is an integral part of India" to begin any talk, or send them a invitation to re-negotiate the Indus Water Treaty, then see how they become defensive to save what they already have. Same goes for China, if they keep sending troops inside our territory and keep issuing staple visas to Arunachalis & Kashmiris, then start issuing staple visas to people of Tibet and Xinjiang, and start warming up bilateral relations with Taiwan, and tell them with a polite smile that we recognize their concerns which are similar to ours. :)
