India Supporting Taliban-US Intel Official

Why? To confuse your already confused countrymen further, and distract them from the real problem at hand?

The real problem being the export of terrorism from India to Pakistan. That is the real problem.

The US and Pakistan are likely both not wrong.

.
The real problem in this case is India that we need to focus on and its proxy war against Pakistan. This is the problem GOP needs to focus on and present in every forum it can, moreover it the job of every Pakistani to highlight is to every extent he/she can by any means media most importantly.

.
Oh of course not.

To ensure that Pakistanis are made aware of US duplicity and Indian support for terrorism in Pakistan.

In your imagination. India support the Taliban, while the US fights them? Not in a million years.

You'll need to do better than that.

I think this will just reinforce the belief amongst Pakistanis that the 'real problem at hand' may not necessarily be the Talibaans but their hidden benefactors such as India itself! The truth has to come out sooner or later!

.
By the way, why don't we start distributing this to all the major media outlets in Pakistan.

Email the story to all the news desks with the highlighted portion and this headline. :D

Do not Forget Kiyani and Zardari and of course ISI.

India has many reasons to support the Pakistani Taliban. The export of such terrorism from India is actually confirmed in that foreign policy article.

As for the Afghani Taliban. The longer the US stays in Afghanistan the better for India. Who would India support covertly in such a case? That's right, more dead Americans will help India's case. Else goodbye Afghanistan, hello strategic depth.

You need to do better than your one liners and prove us wrong that India has "Never" Supported the Taliban.

If only all the Indian consulates in Afghanistan were there to hand out Curry and Dosa's to all the Taliban and Foreign fighters, things would've been A LOT different for us.

Yeah Right! actually your statement should be 'India NOT support the Taliban AGAINST PAKISTAN, while the US fights the? Not is a million years.' to be a bit more credible!

And now you INDIANS need to actually do better than that after the diplomatic fiasco by your Government against Pakistan in the Mumbai Mow Down episode. Get ready! because you and your government will pretty soon be caught with your pants down by the entire western media! :woot:

. .
This is like watching a dog chase it's tail!

You are right! The Indian Government will now run after its own tail because the tick has started to bite right near the mutt's @ssHole! Round and Round it goes with its teeth clicking to bite its own @ss!

run after its own tail because the tick has started to bite right near the mutt's @ssHole!

- Please don't refer to Pakistan that way. I'm sure members on this forum will not like it.....

Its stupid to consider that India would support Taliban. The idea is outrageous. I will not however deny that India has used Afghanistan to cause ..trouble.. in Pakistan, but that is not via using Taliban.

It is in India's supreme interest to see the last Talib dead and the network wiped out. You are blind if you think India is supporting Taliban in any manner possible.
It is not in India's interest to see SWAT type of areas come under Sharia or the Pakistani govt fold under their pressure at all.

Your trying to grasp at straws to implicate India and Taliban here.

.
Actually it makes perfect sense.
India supporting the Pakistani Taliban, destabilization, and America has a reason to shoot up the area. That's only one angle.
What is the endgame is this angle? Americans shooting up the area, causing local discontent against GoP and fomenting an agitation for an independent Pashtunistan?

The US on its part sees the bigger picture. It is not necessarily a given that you can lump Pakistani Taliban with Afghani Taliban. A Pakistani Taliban actually helps the US in some ways since it is easier to point fingers at where the Afghani violence is coming from. There's a whole host of reasons.

As for the Afghan government throwing India out of the country  This is the Northern Alliance, and nationalist goals of Afghanistan! Duh! They'd love to see a Greater Afghanistan brought about through the destabilization of the western frontier. India's help is greatly appreciated by them in this regard.
And I suppose the endgame here being Afghanistan annexing FATA to create this Greater Afghanistan...

So the message of the two angles being: India supports Taliban with the aim of dismembering Pakistan, either by helping GoA create a Greater Afghanistan, or by helping create an independent Pashtunistan.
And this fits perfectly with that redrawn map of the Muslim world (as envisaged by US) someone posted on this forum...
Seriously guys, this makes fascinating reading, but aren't we all stretching our imagination too far here?

Erm, btw, in that very same article:

UPDATE: A Washington South Asia expert, among others, wrote to dispute the allegation made by a former U.S. intelligence official cited in the piece that India is aiding the Taliban, although he said such support may be going to other anti-Pakistan insurgent groups. "It doesn't square with my observations/sources, even though lots of Pakistanis will say it is true," one said. "The Indians have - by many accounts - had a longstanding connection with Baluch nationalists/separatists in Pakistan, but these are not Taliban and they aren't active in Afghanistan fighting against US/NATO forces. So yes, India gives Pakistan grief (as Pakistan has in India), but I've seen no evidence that it comes from Pakistani or Afghan Taliban.

"As for the consulates, that's a regular refrain from Pakistani government and military," the expert added, "but there's very little US evidence to support the claims of major Indian activity in these locations, which appear to be minor operations with rather few personnel." The former U.S. intelligence officer who made the allegation said that U.S. policymakers do not require the U.S. government to collect intelligence on the issue.
