See there is thing called standard of poverty which for Indians is very low. Ofcourse 90% Pakistanis are poor but not when compared to Indians

British brought agricultural boom in Punjab by building one of the best canal system of the world,British didn't build such canal system for central and South India.

Before partition Punjab was considered as richest province of British India and after partition you got most of it while India faced food shortage problem after independence which was lessened by Green revolution.

Fact is India is behind Pakistan in global hunger index, but our country has one of the largest population so even a mere ranking improvement means a lot. As I said earlier Pakistan is not in the sweet spot either.

Even before Kashmir, the Pakistani leadership were more concerned how to stop as many princely states from joining India to keep India weak. So, tension started with the day of existence of Pakistan.

You are allowing water to pass because of fear of danda which Pakistan can put in your a**, this isnt 1948 anymore. Modern industries is invention of British empire, parsis didnt build anything without help of british.
