But it does matter when tiny Guangdong makes 70% of India's GDP with 1/10th the population and tiny Taiwan makes 40% of India's GDP with 1/30th the population.

Just 13% of India's population made up of Chinese people can make more than India's whole population.

Why...Coz USA economic reforms stared much before China,then after some years came China, after that India made its Economic reforms...

Economy grows slowly,it can't jump directly from 10st to 1st..
the more important is the GDP growth which will push the GDP of country higher by every year...

Esepcially considering, both had similar economy 20 years ago. It might cause discomfort.
