If i am not wrong Pakistan has the most number of immigrants all over the World? right?

That includes peoples from Afghanistan, Iran, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Africa and few other countries?

Afghans are not immigrant, they are refugee. If you take them out then there is not much outsider in Pakistan.

actually both of you are correct.

I meant Refugees first and migrants was a typo. Then i noticed number of immigrants after visiting that Wiki page and decided to share stats for both "Number of migrants and refugees"

what to say..............i am from assam.....the most happening hub of immigrant bangladeshis........in guwahati(capital) city they r everywhere to see....what can we do?

there language is similar to indigenous people in char areas(near brahmaputra riverbank) n some other areas like dhuburi district....before(when i was in school) i thought,every person wearing a lungi n has beard n talking this language (siletia)is a bangladeshi,i almost hated them......but now i know that all of them r not bangladeshi since i have friends studying with me who talk in this language.....but then there r lakhs of bangladeshis in assam who migrated n r still coming to assam since 1971,its seems its the price we have to pay for helping them to get independece.........they r poor people who come mostly in search of living but then ...most of the thiefs n dacoits caught in guwahati r bangladeshis(they have no identification n other documents r fake)..they r involved in a no. of illegal activities like smuggling ,drugs hustling,prostitution etc........
but then again what to do????after vising this forum,i started to feel that assam state govt. n pakistan govt. have many similarities....both r extremely incompetent n the politicians in both r mostly criminals n care only for money n power,they have no love for there motherland,there children live in USA or canada.....national congress party(ruling regional party of assam) uses these bangladeshis as vote banks.they r reluctant to deport them......one incident comes into mind,some years ago few hundred illegal bagladeshis were caught in arunachal pradesh by local people who handed them over to police.....arunachal pradesh state govt. sent them on trucks to assam so that they can be deported...but alas our chief minister found only 4 bangladeshis n others were left to roam freely in assam......if to take harsh steps then some regional parties or students unions will start a big hue n cry to gain political advantage......

If you think the different states on the map mean they are different separatist movements for separate countries, you sure been smoking a lot of that green stuff lately.

yes thats a fact. Some peoples from poor African countries come to Pakistan to work. You can find them in Sindh.

Iran and Pakistan share the common culture, language in Balochistan and some other parts of Pakistan. You can find many Iranians in Pakistan too

Yes some indians came to work in Pakistan couple of decades ago when the currency of Pakistan was way stronger than India. I have heard from Sindhi peoples that you still find indian migrants in Karachi. Never been to sindh myself so can't confirm.

Pakistan before 9/11 was way different than today. As all of you know already

Now even the Pakistanis are trying to move abroad let alone foreigners

I belong to NWFP and i know very well that Afghans call Pakistan since long as Dubai for them.

Bangladeshis think the areas they are in currently are part of their territory.


You being an Indian might know how Dubai looks like because Dubai is infested by Indians in large numbers

so you are confuse about Iran India and African

Iran yes..Some came when after the imperial era ended. Border with Iran is also like Afghanistan. Long and unfriendly terrain. People keep coming and going often. My brothers boxing teacher is also from Iran.

Africa. I think you should read the thread African tribe lost in Karachi or something like that. They came long time ago.

India. We all know after partition how many Indian side came to Pakistan to live in Pakistan.
