India slams 'inadequate' Pakistan after Lahore attack

India's inadequacy was seen by all in the days after the 26/11 match it had with the gunmen. Hundreds of army men got roughed up by a few untrained, runaway kids.

They were trained and were barricaded in. Not the kind of run away kind you mentioned. Indian attack happened on a open public place where there was no cordon or checkpost was available. And by the time security arrived these guys had barricaded themselves up well on the higher floors.

Runaway Kids are those like the one's that you saw today, who fired a few shots and ran away 'leaving the tin rocket launcher' and bags of ammunation behind.

Some 170 ppl died in 26/11 where a bunch of pakistani terrorists made surprised attack on purely civilian centres like railway station ,hotels, restaurants,hospital & jewish prayer hall.None on these any semblace of security unlike Cricket convey of Sri lanka which had security arrangement that rivlas those for 'heads of the states'....

Also let me tell u in the two 5 * hotels where some 60 odd died had few thousand ppl in its several hundred rooms, restaurants,luxury show rooms inside those hotels who were rescued by the mumbai cops even before the arrival of NSG commandos .

And talking of hindu commandoes,just few weeks after 26/11 English cricket teamed had enough confidence in those hindu commandoes to return to india & resume the test cricket series.

Also even though its been only few months since 26/11 many international players are rushing to india to take part in IPL.They have more than enough confidence in the hindu commandoes.

Well you are right, no other team is willing to travel to Pakistan and we can thank our big neighbour to the east for that. Also the reason why the English cricket team returned is because of the massive financial power that BCCI has, if they wouldnt have returned BCCI would have returned the favour and ECB is not in a position to confront BCCI.

Now dont tell me english or cricketer of any other nation would be willing to play in india just for the sake of good money even if that puts his life at risk.Ask any well paid international cricketer,his answer would be a big No.

7 of our policemen gave their lives to protect our guests. they didnt let those terrorists kill any sri lankan which is wat their target was. wat else does security mean. lik how it was in mumbai where police was runnin away to save their own life??

there were security personell ready with the sri lankan team .. your police did good job .. but dont compare it to mumbai attack... our police or commandos were not at site wen firing broke out at mumbai so by the time our security personnel arrived terrorists took their position.....

Security was so inadequate, it was jaw dropping. Even the bus wasnt bullet proof.. THe road wasnt coordoned off before the arrival of the team. I am shocked to see that despite assuring the safety of Sri Lanka's, despite knowing the susceptible threat, despite knowing the city being a major base for militants. Still not even a single comando was on that bus.
The entire world is numb at the gaping hole in the security of those who were "assured" security. Pakistan has needs a serious food for thought. This is the poorest performance of a security agency in the world.

I have said it before too that it is laughable someone from India is talking about providing money to other country for provision of bullet proof when your own security force was ill-equiped during Mumbai attacks.
